Uuuughhhh, I'm so behind on NaNoWriMo. I couldn't write for about a week out of sheer busyness, which was mostly due to (as the title would imply) English homework.

I like my English class-it's fun and, for the most part, interesting. But the homework is fugging stupid. |: We're currently suffering through Conrad's Heart of Darkness. God, talk about everything I don't like in a book. Overwrought description, needlessly long passages that interrupt any sort of story flow, heavy-handed moralizing. The last one I can ignore in a good story--I did enjoy Narnia after all--but honestly, the narrator is going off on moral or blathering tangents every other page. :/ At one point, they get attacked in a thick fog. The narrator gets sidetracked talking about his ship crew for two pages. |: Then, finally seems to remember that he was almost killed. DX
Arrrrgh.
And our teacher makes us to page-by-page summaries. God, you know he's just doing it to make sure we read the damn thing. -_-

And now, it looks like my iPod's been dropped one too many times and it freezes up when I try to listen to drama CDs. ): FFFF.
